My process
How are Earthscapes made?
Earthscapes are created with photographs taken during my wanderings anywhere, any place, any time on the earth. I often blend the photographs with traditional painting techniques I've applied to canvas.
I merge these photographic and painted media into original, hi-end digital art prints. Prints are typically created using professional 8-color to 12-color high-end ink-jet printers and archival quality pigment inks to produce incredibly detailed prints. Their quality rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes, and is commonly found in museums, art galleries and photographic galleries. These are not typical digital prints that might easily fade in a short period of time. With an Earthscapes print, you are investing in art that you can enjoy for a lifetime.
Each Earthscape I produce first goes through a test print proof process on canvas. Once I'm happy with the results of the proof, I make a final print on 100% acid-free fine art canvas. The inks on this print take two to three days to dry. Your canvas then is stretched and wrapped on a museum-quality wood frame and is ready to hang. The final presentation weighs very little, so hanging is very easy.
Are Earthscapes limited-edition?
Yes. Most Earthscapes come from runs of 5 or 50 original prints. Prints are numbered and signed by me. Some Earthscapes are available as single print editions. If you're a gallery owner, retailer or corporate buyer interested in purchasing the rights to an Earthscape to print as your own exclusive edition, please call me or e-mail me.
Will the colors on the print be exactly as I see them on my computer screen?
All monitors have different built-in color ranges; all web browsers vary in how they represent colors as well. This makes accurate color presentation online very challenging. To address this issue, I have done extensive color testing between what you see onscreen to what appears on the print proof, so I can assure that there will be, at most, only minimal difference between the two.
Earthscapes have a vibrant look designed to generate positive feelings. As good as the work looks onscreen, I can assure you it looks even more beautiful once printed.
Please Note
All Earthscapes are for personal use only. Once the purchase is made, owners do not have rights to reproduce these images in any form without a written agreement from Sunita Jariwala-Gajjar.

I hope to develop a personal connection with anyone who enjoys my art, and my ordering process is designed to help us build that relationship.
To obtain my latest pricing information, please email info@theearthscapes.com or call me at 917.577.6453 (Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm EST). I will then send you a price list. Once you have selected your print or prints for production and I receive your order confirmation via email or fax, your print will be ready for shipment within two weeks (please note that larger orders may take longer). If time is critical for a gift order or other reasons, please let me know and I will be happy to try to accommodate your request.
Payment
I accept personal checks, credit cards (via PayPal) and U.S. money orders. If you decide to pay with a check, I will wait until the check clears before starting production on your order.
Once you make your selection, I will send you an invoice outlining all shipping and handling charges plus applicable sales tax on shipments to NY, NJ, and CT.
Shipping
I take as much care preparing your Earthscapes print for shipping as I do in creating it. Each print your order is wrapped in protective tissue and guarded with slip-on corrugated corners on all four corners for extra protection. I then bubble wrap each print and place in a reinforced corrugated box for shipment.
Earthscapes can be sent anywhere in the world. Shipping time and costs will vary, depending upon the destination and the size of your order. Within the US and Canada, shipping for one print typically costs $20 to $25 (handling fees included) via UPS ground service. Once your order is shipped, I will send you a tracking number to track your order and anticipated delivery date.
